Inter National Day of Person With Disability
Meenakshi Venkatraman Foundation conducted an awareness program on International day of Person with Disability (PWD). During the function, Dr. Sravan Kumar, Superintendent, Gandhi Hospital graced the occasion as Chief Guest along with our Managing trustee G.V. Sethuraman and Dr. Shoban Babu, HOD, Department of ENT, Dr. George, Paediatrician, Dr. Murali. K, Treasurer, GMCGA (2018-20). The awareness program was coordinated by MVF Staff Mr. Raghu and Ms. Merlyn along with internship Students Ms. Deeraja, Ms. Jyothirmai, Ms. Gowthami, Ms. Anusha. Our Managing trustee had given brief narration of the NBHS program. Mr. Raghu presented a PowerPoint explaining the Hearing Disability, Degree and Type of hearing loss and How to prevent Hearing loss. Dr. Sravan Kumar given Speech about the Deafness and Newborn hearing loss Screening and Dr. Murali given Speech about the how to control the Deafness Dr. Sravan Kumar and Dr. Shoban Babu felicitated the person with a Disability who working at the Gandhi Hospital as a staff. Mr. G.V. Sethuraman felicitated the officials and Guests.
